Primo transforms the amorphous coloured mass that connects, supports or balances volumes throughout the collection into an independent form. Freed from the role of relating to another volume, it takes on a sculptural presence of its own, defined by its silhouette, colour and surface movement.

DETAILS & CRAFT

Colour is applied by hand using a combination of fine glass powder and granules, allowing different tones, densities and fluid transitions to develop throughout Primo’s sculptural form. Rather than creating a perfectly uniform pattern, the process allows colour to move naturally through each piece. Because every Primo is formed and coloured individually, no two are exactly alike. Subtle variations in silhouette, colour distribution, surface, texture and small traces of the making process are unique to each object.

Material: Glass
Process: Hand-formed and individually finished
