Colour is applied by hand using a combination of fine glass powder and granules, allowing different tones, densities and transitions to emerge within Poise’s sculptural base as the glass takes shape. Rather than creating a perfectly uniform pattern, the process allows the colour to move naturally through each piece. Because every Poise is formed and coloured individually, no two are exactly alike. Subtle variations in silhouette, balance, colour distribution, transparency, texture and small traces of the making process are unique to each object.
